Pre Operative Instructions

There are many Pre operative Instructions that should be followed before Hair transplant surgery. Patient must inform Doctor if He/She is taking any medications,

Own medical History.

1. 7-8 Days before surgery patient should follow following instructions : –

Stop Drinking Alcohol.
Stop taking aspirin any drug that contains Aspirin.
Stop using any Non- approved drugs.

2. 1 day Before Surgery Stop using:- ibuprofen and Naproxen.

3. The night before surgery:-

Get sufficient sleep
Shampoo and rinse your hair well with shampoo.

4. The day of surgery :-

Don’t do exercise one day or same day before surgery.
Take your medication as advised.
Don’t come with empty stomach. Make sure you should have a good meal.
What to wear:- do not wear any fit clothing. Wear shirts or something else with buttons or zippers that open completely.Women patients bring a scarf to cover bandage.
